What to include
Questions about a result. If you want help interpreting the calculator’s output, paste the share link from your results page. The link carries only your numeric assumptions in the part of the URL that is never sent to a server, so you are not sending us anything you did not already type into the tool. See our privacy page.
Corrections. If a default is stale, a source is misquoted, or a formula description on the methodology page does not match what you observe, tell us which figure and, if you can, point us to a better source. We log every change to defaults and methodology.
Press. We are glad to explain the model, provide worked scenarios, or run specific cases on request. Please note that we are not licensed advisors and will say so.
Partnerships. We consider referral relationships only where they can be disclosed on the page, never alter the numbers, and never receive a user’s inputs without that user’s explicit action. Proposals that do not meet those conditions will be declined.
What we cannot do
We cannot tell you whether to renovate or move. The calculator gives you the financial half of the answer with the assumptions made explicit; the rest depends on your household, your market and professionals who can see both. We do not provide financial, mortgage, tax, legal, appraisal, construction or real-estate advice.
